On Saturday, May 2, 2009, at 11 a.m. the Pipino Foundation and Drexel University will host the 17th Annual University City 5K Run. All proceeds from the run assist in providing scholarships to Drexel University students.

Parking is available at the "F" lot located behind the Drexel University Main Building at 31st and Ludlow Streets.
All entrants will receive a commemorative race t-shirt.
Starting/Finishing
The race will start promptly at 11 a.m., with the starting line directly across from registration. At the conclusion of the race, awards will be given in the following categories:
- 1st Overall Male Winner
- 1st Overall Female Winner
And, the top 3 male and female finishers in each of the following age groups:
- 19 and Under
- 20 - 29
- 30 - 39
- 40 - 49
- 50 - 59
- 60 and Older
